As reported by Reuters, 22-year-old striker was well ahead of Ronaldo in the voting conducted throughout European journalists. Messi broke the record with 473 points, while Ronaldo got 233 votes.

Messi also became Ballon d’Or winner since Michael Owen the youngest player to win the title at the age of 21-years in 2001. He also became the first Argentine player who won this award.

The performance of Barcelona with Messi during this year was remarkable. He has an important role in the success of Barcelona won the treble in this year of La Liga, Champions League and Copa del Rey.

Lionel Messi understand that he is one of the strong candidate winning the title of Europe’s best player this year. But when he absolutely winning and winning over his rival, he also admitted surprise. France Football magazine announced the best player Messi . Argentina’s first Ballon d’Or winner received 473 points, New record.

“I understand that I am one of the favorite because this season is a good season for Barcelona,” Messi said to France Football as reported by the Guardian.

But the 22-year-old player was admitted surprised by the excellence that can be said this is an absolute win with his rival Cristiano Ronaldo who got 233 points. “I never thought to be able to win with a margin such that big numbers,” he said.
The player nicknamed “Messidona” is specifically dedicated this award to his family. “Getting this award is truly a honor. I dedicate this achievement to the family. They were always there when I needed and they sometimes feel the emotion that is higher than what I felt,” He said.

The World Cup 2010 Final Draw

Posted by soccer boss | Uncategorized | Wednesday 9 December 2009 3:02 PM

Final draw for the first soccer at African soil gathered today in International Convention Center.

TV broadcast was followed by over 250 millions people in more than 200 countries round the World.

We have seen some african celeberities as an assistent at the stage like Makhaya Ntini, Haile Gebreselassie, John Smit, Simphiwe Dludlu. Of course there was megapoupolar David Beckham, but the biggest star of the ceremony was southafrican acctress Charlize Theron.

19th World Cup opening game will be match against host South Africa against Mexico. The match will be play at Soccer City stadium in Johannesburg.

GROUP A: South Africa, Mexico, Uruguay, France.
GROUP B: Argentina, Nigeria, Korea Republic, Greece.
GROUP C: England, USA, Algeria, Slovenia.
GROUP D: Germany, Australia, Serbia, Ghana.
GROUP E: Netherlands, Denmark, Japan, Cameroon.
GROUP F: Italy, Paraguay, New Zealand, Slovakia.
GROUP G: Brasil, Korea DPR, Cote d’ Ivoire, Portugal
GROUP H: Spain, Switzerland, Honduras, Chile.

At the first sight we can tell this time there is no death group. But, that doesn’t mean won’t be interesting games.

Host team has a rough group, it would be very difficult for them to go through to the next round. France is actual World Cup runner-up, Mexico is standard World Cup participant, Uruguay has some excellent players like Suarez and Forlan.
In group B pure favourite is Argentina led by legendary Diego Armando Maradona as a coach and Lionel Messi as a the best player of the World.
Other 3 teams should be struggle for the second place.

England and USA should go through to the next round from group C, but they can not underestimate Algeria and Slovenia cause they throwed out Egypt who is African champions and Russia, last EURO 2008 semi finalists.

Triple World Cup champions, Germany, placed in group D as a clear favourite in competition with Australia, Serbia and Ghana.

However, the dark horse is team of Serbia which have won their qualification group in front of France. Australia and Ghana played very well in Germany 2006, they also have a few great players and they will be look for the next round for sure.
Netherlands and Denmark should be the favourites in group F but Cameroon led by Samuel Eto’o has definitely a nice chance to go through to the next round, Japan is outsider in my opinion.

World Cup defending champion, Italy, placed in group F with Paraguay, New Zealand and Slovakia. Italy had a good draw, Paraguay looks good too, New Zealand is happy to be here and Slovakia is World Cup debitant and they will be struggle with Paraguay for second place.

Group G is the strongest, Korea DPR is absolutely outsider but other 3 teams has equal chances to go through. Sure, Brasil is group favourite and will be very interesting to see them against “european” Brasil, Portugal and Didier Drogba’s Cote d’ Ivoire. Cote d’ Avoire has no luck for the second time in a row, we all remember they were located with Argentina, Netherlands and Serbia in Germany four years ago.

Finally, the European champions and 1st team by FIFA ranking, Spain placed in group H with Switzerland, Honduras ans Chile.
Spain shold go through without a question, Honduras is outsider while Switzerland and Chile will be decide in there mutual match about second place.

World Cup 2010 will last from 11th July to 11th June. 19 th World Cup winner will be awarded with 30 million $ from FIFA.
Games will be played at 10 stadiums in 9 cities:

Cape Town, Green Point Stadium: Gross Capacity: 70,000
Johannesburg, Ellis Park Stadium: Gross Capacity: 61,000
Johannesburg, Soccer City Stadium: Gross Capacity: 94,700
Bloemfontein, Free State Stadium: Gross Capacity: 48,000
Nelspruit, Mbombela Stadium: Gross Capacity: 46,000
Rustenburg, Royal Bafokeng Stadium: Gross Capacity: 42,000
Durban, Durban Stadium : Gross Capacity: 70,000
Port Elizabeth, Nelson Mandela Bay Stadium: Gross Capacity: 48,000
Polokwane, Peter Mokaba Stadium: Gross Capacity: 46,000
Pretoria, Loftus Verfeld Stadium: Gross Capacity: 50,000

All soccer admirers can’t wait the opening day which is for 188 days. We except we will watch great and exciting soccer in %links2%, like always.
We can’t except anything less. Messi, Cristiano Ronaldo, Kaka, Forlan, Rooney, Beckham, Lampard, Donovan, Ballack, Sneijder, Eto’o, Buffon, Drogba, Deco, Xavi, Iniesta, Torres and many other great player should be warranty for that.

Those tips include not only major Europian football leagues, but thay are also covering all world’s soccer leagues, including the lower ones.

Regarding table standing, we think that Setubal is the weakest team in the league and it has no chanses on Akademica’s field.

This is the last chanse for Bayern to be included in championship race. Hanover isn’t play so well this year on home field, and Bayern is on the wing of Champions League victory. Still despite of seven points behind Leverkuzen, according by most of the bookies, Bayern is number one favorite for title.

Not only that Gossau is on the last place on table, but they are shacked because of fixing matches scandal that make echo all around Europe. They will play without two suspended players, so Le Mont is a big favorite in this match, ecpecialy on their small field.

Belincona is in the hard financial situation, and beside that they are weakest team in Swiss league. In last three matches they got 19 goals in their net! So in club can’t wait for winter break. On the other hand, Sion is undefeated in last five matches.

Atromitos is playing much better then in the start of the season and with teams of similar quality, they have big advatage on home field.
