I have my own opinion also so before we can get down to who the best actually is we should first think of who the top five are at least.

The top five quarter backs of all time in the NFL in my opinion goes in this order:Dan Marino, Fran Tarkenton, John Elway, Terry Bradshaw, and Archie Manning. These are my favorite NFL quarter backs of all time.

Of these five quarterbacks my all time favorite is the underrated New Orleans Saints quarterback Archie Manning. Not only did he have one of the greatest careers as quarterback in the NFL ever, but he also raised two of the best quarterbacks of all time Peyton and Eli Manning. That alone should have reserved him a spot in the NFL’s hall of fame.

If that is not enough he was the only quarterback of those listed above besides maybe Dan Marino that never had a good team to play with. He was in the trenches playing with the worst offensive line that ever existed. He was sacked more time than any other quarterback in a single season.
